Fruit of Knowledge

+Ryan Gagne asks "I was cleaning out my late uncle's study and accidentally knocked over a glass apple. To my surprise, it didn't shatter. In fact, it is rather stout. I didn't see it because it's very clear. That is, until it was in my hand. It then became milky translucent. What does this thing do?"

Ryan, it sounds like your uncle is in possession of one of the Fruits of Knowledge. These empower their owners with nearly unlimited knowledge of a single subject when used in a manner similar to a crystal ball.
